I think I slept for about two hours last night. And that two hours was definitely not uninterupted. In fact, I even dreampt that I was wide awake and telling myself I needed to sleep.
Now I'm fresh out of the shower, trying to decide what to wear. Big day, big day. Although I doubt my lawyer or the judge will care much about my wardrobe selection.
Last night I watched Kissing Jessica Stein (eh) and Harold and Maude (yay!). I put in Resevoir Dogs but finally decided that I needed to at least pretend I was going to sleep.
I'm not sure that I will ever get used to the nights when my children aren't at home.
But they return tonight, and my normal state of chaos will return.
And I wouldn't have it any other way.
