Mom: You got a letter from the school, is it your grades?
Me: No, it's something from financial aid. And I already know my grades.
Mom: Oh really?
Me: Mhmm.
Mom: Well, how did you do?
Me: I got all A's.
Mom: Does that actually effect anything?
Me: Uhm. It might.
Uh? Hello? See, this is why it is good to always do things for yourself and not your parents or anyone else. They obviously don't understand.
