I could definitely get used to this schedule. It's nice to have a couple hours to myself in the middle of each day. I can run any errands I might need to take care of, or I can simply come home and lounge around -- sinking happily into the complete silence that my house becomes when no one else is looking.
It's the evenings ... the just-home-from-work-oh-my-god-the-kids-need-dinner frantic whirlwind that I'm not too fond of. But it's not so bad. I figure if everyone is smiling, well fed, clean and snuggled up in bed by 9:30, I'm doing just fine.
And so far, I'm doing just fine. Of course next week my school begins, which throws one more variable into the mix.
"Look Mom -- I'm vegetable soup!"
