Some things my children have taught me recently:
Daegan, upon being asked what he knows about the planet Earth: "I know that robbers shoot people and steal their money."
Steven upon being asked what scares him: "I'm afraid that when I get older someone will shoot me. Like maybe, in high school, someone will have a gun and I will get shot."
Oh yes, what a wonderful world.
